Overview

LifeTec PES pleated cartridge filters leverage advanced polyethersulfone membrane technology to deliver reliable microbial retention, high flow rates, and long service life. For sterile food and beverage applications requiring increased throughput and lower pressure drop, selected filter elements are available with Alpha-Pore™ technology, featuring a highly asymmetric membrane structure engineered to maximize permeability, extend filter life and maintain filtration performance. 

Constructed from durable polypropylene with pleated PES filter elements, they provide excellent mechanical and thermal stability and support food contact regulatory requirements. 

All components of PES Liquid Filter Cartridges meet U.S. and EU requirements for Food Contact Use in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 21 and Regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004 and subsequent amendments. All materials used do not contain any Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as defined in EC/1907/2006 and EC/65/2011.

LifeTec™ Alpha-Pore™ W Liquid Filter Element

LifeTec™ Alpha-Pore™ W is a sterile-grade, pleated asymmetric polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter designed for sterile filtration and microbial stabilization of water-based liquids.

The permanently hydrophilic membrane and robust filter construction make it suitable for water filtration applications in beverage, dairy, and process industries.

LifeTec™ PES-WH Liquid Filter Elements

The LifeTec™ PES-WH filter element is a sterile-grade, pleated, highly asymmetric Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter for sterile filtration and microbial stabilization. Its hydrophilic PES membrane features a highly asymmetric pore structure with pore size that decreases toward the center, creating a highly porous medium that maintains consistent porosity and impurity retention throughout service life without shedding or unloading contaminants.

The PES-WH filter element’s highly asymmetric PES membrane is engineered for higher permeability and lower pressure drop compared to symmetric membranes; This design helps support contaminant loading and fouling management, which may contribute to longer service life across a wide range of liquid processing applications.

The LifeTec™ PES-WN filter is a sterile grade, pleated high-performance polyethersulfone membrane filter.  This PES cartridge filter is designed for sterile filtration and microbial stabilization of food ingredients and beverages.  This extremely durable design maintains consistent porosity and impurity retention throughout its service life without shedding or unloading contaminants.
